 Athletes are likely to experience a range of emotions before and during a competition, this experience will be subjective and idiosyncratic, so that your emotional experience will be different to that of other athletes. The purpose of this exercise is to identify your performance related emotions, especially those associated with your best and worst performances. This information can then be used to raise your awareness of emotions and explore personal management strategies to promote optimal performance.
